The GGDSD College Society was established in 1973 with an aim to start a First Rate College in India for imparting higher education, under the dynamic leadership of Late Pt. Mohan Lal Ji, former Education, Home and Finance Minister, Punjab. § Our college is ‘A Premier Multi Faculty, Grant-in-Aid, Post Graduate (Co-Educational) Institution’ affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh. § Our college has been accredited ‘A+’ Grade by NAAC Bangalore. § Our college Ranked 41st in All India Ranking 2017 by NIRF (The National Institutional Ranking Framework), MHRD, Govt. of India. § Our College Ranked 12th in Commerce, 18th in Science and 18th in Arts at All India level in a survey conducted by ‘India Today’ in collaboration with Nielson India survey in 2017.
